Chase Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue is dedicated to rescuing rabbits and guinea pigs, providing them with the care they need, and finding them a loving forever home. We are committed to nurturing these gentle creatures, ensuring they receive proper medical care, nutrition, and a safe environment. Our mission is to create lasting bonds between rabbits, guinea pigs and their new families.
Every rabbit and guinea pig that comes into Chase Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue is cared for directly by our dedicated team. From the moment they arrive, they receive individual attention, gentle handling, and the reassurance they need to feel safe again. We take the time to understand each animal’s personality, preferences, and unique needs so we can match them with the most suitable home. Our hands‑on approach ensures that every rescue is truly seen, valued, and supported throughout their journey.

Finding the right forever home is at the heart of our work. We carefully assess potential adopters to make sure each rabbit or guinea pig is placed in an environment where they will be loved, respected, and able to thrive. We also provide ongoing guidance and support to new owners, helping them feel confident and prepared. By focusing on responsible rehoming and long‑term welfare, we aim to give every animal the chance to enjoy a happy, secure future.
What we do
Medical Care
Whilst in our care, we provide comprehensive medical treatment, including vaccinations, neutering and specialised rehabilitation for injured or sick rabbits and guinea pigs.
Safe Shelter
Our rescue offers a stress-free environment where rabbits and guinea pigs can rest, recover, and grow in a safe, loving space until they find their forever home.
Adoption Prep
​We prepare every rabbit and guinea pig for a successful transition into a new home through socialisation, bonding and health checks

Volunteer Your time
If you have an hour or two to spare each week, we are always eager to welcome new volunteers to support our rescue. Whether you can lend a hand at our events, help spread the word by sharing our social media posts, or use your crafting talents to create items we can sell, your contribution would make a real difference. We truly value any amount of time or unique skills you can offer. If you have other creative ideas for how you might help, we would love to hear from you. Every effort, big or small, helps us continue our important work.
As a small, self-funded rescue operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, we are constantly seeking innovative ways to strengthen and sustain our efforts.
Become a foster parent
We are always eager to welcome new members to our dedicated team of foster carers. To join us as a foster carer, you will need to be able to collect and drop off animals at our headquarters in Norton Canes, as well as attend appointments at our vets in the Shelfield and/or Bloxwich area. While we cover all vet bills, we do ask that you seek our permission before any non-routine visits.
It is important that all animals in your household are neutered and vaccinated, and that you have a sound understanding of the species you wish to foster. Your accommodation must meet, or ideally exceed, our minimum rehoming standards, and we ask that you are willing to provide weekly updates and photographs of the animals in your care. You should also be comfortable with occasional visits from a member of our team, arranged at a mutually convenient time.
